Ports and protocols used in SIP applications
Desktop terminals and others
The router or firewall must not block the following ports to ensure smooth communication without interruptions or other problems.
- Disable SIP ALG on routers - It may interfere with SIP traffic.
- 5060 UDP - BLF Open.
- 5080 TCP and UDP - SIP signaling.
- 5081 TLS (encrypted) TCP - SIP signaling.
- 3478 UDP (STUN) - Allows NAT clients to find their public IP address.
- 10000-20000 UDP - RTP and SRTP (encrypted) audio packets.
